SMA Feed the Hunger 2021

The recent wave of Covid Pandemic in Malaysia has caused hardship to low income families. In response to an urgent request from Member of Parliament of Petaling Jaya, YB Maria Chin Abdullah, SMA conducted a fund raising project to donate 2,300 EMCO Lockdown Food Baskets to the less fortunate residents of Sunway Mentari Court PPR.

This project was also significant as 2021 is the 23^rd anniversary of SMA in Malaysia and we are happy to be able to make a difference providing nutritious food to the poor and impacted families, so that they can have decent meals.

The SMA Greener Sysmex committee did an excellent fundraising project with almost 100% support from all SMA staff who donated generously which was match by SMA. The team spirit sparked by this project had demonstrated SMA capacity as a caring organization and our corporate social responsibility towards the community. Special thanks to Muhammad Nazri, Seow Yi Teng, Abramahasa Josim & Mohamad Rafli who sacrifice a Sunday afternoon to be present at the handing over ceremony of the food baskets to YB Maria Chin Abdullah.
